About Cycling Time Trials (CTT)

CTT has a rich history that can be traced back over 100 years, originating in 1922.  Originally, a group of cycling clubs formed the Road Racing Council to ensure uniformity in the conduct of road time trials.

In 1937, the Council changed its title to the Road Time Trials Council and embarked on a scheme of national control. The main object of the Council remained to provide national uniformity in event conduct and ensure the sport’s continuity.

In 2002, an agreement was signed between the Council and Cycling Time Trials to continue the long-standing aims, standards, and integrity of the Council.

The new website and refreshed branding brings the CTT into the new, digital age.
