Zwift Camp: Inside Out
Starting on April 14th, Zwift are running a structured programme to help hone your fitness for riding outside. As Zwift notes “Each week of this 6-week program, hone your sweet spot zone and power up your outdoor rides with progressively harder workouts!”
Zwift Camp: Inside Out is made up of 5 workouts and one new route. They can be completed in events or on-demand and only when the stage is open. The workouts can be reviewed here.
To accompany this, Zwift have developed a workout sheet to print and document your training, ideally helping your training 2-3 times per week, and can be downloaded here.
With Zwift’s new update and integration with Garmin and Wahoo, your outside rides, if recorded using a Garmin or Wahoo count and generate XP.
I spoke to Zwift’s CEO, Eric Min about this at the Zwift Community Live event in Mallorca and he said “Whether you are riding indoors or outdoors, it’s just cycling!” I very much like how Zwift have created this integration where your outside rides are recorded and count.

Summing-up
Zwift’s latest updates are centred around bug fixes, with the new Zwift Camp: Inside Out being the big focus as Zwift are using this to ensure that people’s outsides rides still connects them to the platform, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor riding. As Eric Min noted “It’s just cycling!”
