Mountain Massif is hosting a series of 16 training sessions that are designed to improve your fitness.
Training will start after a brief race on Monday, July 7th, that gauges your level of fitness. There will be 16 scheduled training sessions spread out over 6 weeks on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7:00 AM and 5:15 PM BST.
Once the sessions are complete, you will be invited to re-race the same course so you may evaluate your development.

About the Mountain Massif training sessions
The goal of this training is to assist you in reaching your peak performance. Every exercise session in the Mountain Massif training series has a distinct function, and when combined form a well-organised training program, helping you to become a better climber both on Zwift and in real life.
Among other things, the goal of these exercises is to increase your sustained power, which is essential for climbing.
It’s crucial to only engage in intense exercise if you are in good enough health and fitness because these sessions are meant to be difficult. See your doctor if you have any doubts.
It is also recommended that your training gear, such as bikes and turbo trainers, should be in good working order. Never utilise any equipment that does not meet the necessary standards.
TrainingPeaks

To deliver maximum benefit, we are collaborating with TrainingPeaks to ensure that have access to their powerful data tools to assist with you training, including being able to provide you any missed sessions, allowing you to reschedule your training and kept on track.
Start by signing up for the TrainingPeaks app here. There are two levels of accounts, including Basic and Premium. The Basic account is like a training diary, where if you sync the app to Zwift, your data is uploaded after each ride and you can see basic information about your session such as the duration, distance and your Training Stress Score (TSS) — a metric used to quantify the amount of stress a workout puts on your body.
Along with these features, the Premium version allows you to reschedule missed sessions so that you have greater control over how you schedule your workouts. Features include:
1. Log your training on the web, iOS or Android app.
2. Plan future workouts and reschedule missed ones.
3. Build your own workouts and gain unlimited access to the TrainingPeaks workout library.
5. Track your fitness progress via the Performance Management Charts.
6. Analyse your fitness trends with power, HR, pace, distance and other charts.
Missed sessions can be sent upon request by emailing contact@mountainmassif.com, where you can then upload them into TrainingPeaks and complete at your leisure, provided you have the Premium account.
