There is a nice range of events to tackle this weekend, three of which are for very worthwhile causes.   

FRR Charity Day – 24hrs – Atop Ventop

Flamme Rouge Racing hosting a challenging event to raise money for two charities, Cyclists Fighting Cancer (CFC) and Bodie Hodges Foundation (BHF).

The event will last 24 hours and will be hosted on the Ven-Top course on Zwift.  The challenge is to complete as many ascents individually or as a club within the event duration.

RLK 16: Celebration Ride

Zwift are once again supporting Ride like King.  There are multiple events being hosted throughout the day, but the one highlighted is a nice 40.4km ride around Makuri Island.

Mt. Fuji Dojo Series Group Workout

With training well underway for the Mt Fuji Hill Climb and having ridden Mount Fuji in the Zwift Climb Portal, I thought it would be relevant to highlight this structured training event, which contains some nice ramped efforts, mirroring the increasing gradient of a climb.

The Ride for Mental Health presented by Bear Mountaineers

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, The Bear Mountaineers will be partnering with The Ride for Mental Health.  This will be an opportunity to ride together and have fun and shine a spotlight on this important topic.  The rides are of varying length and hosted in Scotland on the Muckle Yin course.
